This morning, Channel Insider officially launched Project Nimbus, a collaborative effort with HTG Peer Groups to identify the opportunities and challenges for solution providers in the rapidly evolving cloud computing world. Click here to read the full announcement.

To support Project Nimbus, Channel Insider has launched this new blog: Channel Cloud Computing—or simply C3.

The purpose of this blog is twofold. First, the members of Project Nimbus will air some of our thoughts and ideas associated with the research project in this public forum for thoughts and debate among the community. Second, the editors of Channel Insider will post musings on thoughts and trends related to cloud computing in the channel.

Our intent is for the C3 blog to be an open forum for the discussion on the future of cloud computing and where solution providers fit in the cloud computing paradigm.

We hope everyone enjoys this blog and participates in the discussions. Through dialogue, we will all gain a better understanding about the dynamic new platform known as cloud computing.
