The European Commission's rejection of the $7 billion Oracle acquisition of Sun is what some solution providers say is what Larry Ellison needs. Sun's been losing $100 million a month since the deal was struck, and observers say Oracle wants out. What happens to Sun and its partners then is anyone's guess.
